Amanda Fink cheering thread!
 

I think she finally deserves a thread at her career high ranking of 313!



She has had a great year reaching the finals of a 10K and shockingly making the finals as a qualifier in Lexington 50K. She had a considerable win in Vancouver defeating Kristyna Pliskova in straight sets and taking top 100 player Eleni Danidillou to three sets. She's been steadily rising all year and I think she deserves a thead.

I wonder if she'll stay stateside for the fall ITFs or head to Asia ? I'm sure her ranking will get her into the Q draws of tourneys like Osaka and Seoul :)

She had a terrible year up until March going 3-8 and she hasn't played since :confused:. Is she injured? Does anyone have any news?

She needed a break and is coaching right now at a club. She played a money tournament in Ojai in April and lost to Sachia Vickery and lost 7-5 in the 3rd set in the finals. She may come back, she may not. Just a bit burnt out of the grind of the tour
