Anna begins her comeback against Anastasia Myskina tomorrow

hopefully Anna is fully fit and behind all her injuries.

Good luck Anna !!!!!!!

ALPHA Sep 27th, 2001 07:43 PM

Well, the reasons for Anna's loss to Myskina are obvious. But still it's disappointing.

I just hope that she does not start to collect loss after loss from now on to the end of the season.

She won her last match in early February 7.5 months back in the past. Hopefully she does not forget how to win a match.

Keep the fighting spirit, Anna. All the best for next week's Kremlin Cup - this time with a better draw.

Well, for what I can see in this topic, you don´t know the truth about Anna. All that time out because of the injury is a lie, that´s the official version. Anna isn´t just a tennis player, check ot my posts in this gotennis thread and you will learn more about Anna´s double life:

Rir?!
Isto é a pura verdade!!!

You are right Alpha.. it is disappointing, but only slightly, I hope she wins every match she plays.. but that is not going to happen either..

A win is just around the corner, plus the rest of the year is an opportunity for her to get some match fitness and get her self set for 2002.. It is certainly better than doing nothing for the rest of the year and than starting from scratch at the beginning of 2002, in which it would take a few more mths for her to get some form..

As for the other post on this thread.. Are you Brain Dead or somethiong???

TheBoiledEgg Sep 28th, 2001 11:46 AM

most players after a long injury take around 3 months to get back into the swing of things ..

Anastasia Myskina wasn't herself when she came back after 5 months off , it took her until June to get into match toughness.

Anna ..... has another 4 weeks before end of season and hopefully she can defend alot of those points and stay around the top 30

Best of luck Anna ...... we're all behind you on this .....

ajayares Sep 28th, 2001 12:16 PM

I think top 30, is pushing it..

Just say for example she plays 4 more tournaments and gets say 200pts in total (ave 50) her ranking will be around 50..

I think that the best we can hope for at the moment..

But you are right about One thing, it going to take some time before she get back to some good form.. Plus that's what she thinks as well..

O.K., O.K., sorry.
Gee, you guys can´t take a joke.
I won´t make more posts, so I don´t bother you.
