Mixed double queens (Open era)

I’ve made a little ranking of all the players who reached at least one mixed doubles finals in a major since the beginning of the Open era.

Result is quite interesting, you can find all the usual doubles specialists but also a lot of “singles” players who took the occasion of a first GS tournament, even if mixed is more a way to have some fun for players who lost early in singles.

I’ll let appear the active players in red

Enjoy!;)

Re: Mixed doubles queens (Open era)

Daniela has completed a career mixed doubles grandslam, i hope martina can come back after her time out and play doubles..... I was hoping when i was old enough (well I am older now) and have enough money (im still working on that) that I can plan a vacation and watch her play in one of the grandslams :(

Updated after the US Open :wavey:

All the 2009 female winners in mixed have been 1st time winners (Mirza, Huber, Groenefeld, Gullickson)

Winning her 2 finals of 2009, Cara Black would have enter the top 5, but she has been the only one to reach two finals in mixed this year ;)

Re: Mixed double queens (Open era)

It's weird Margaret Court never reached an AO mixed final, she won most of her single GS there.
