Meghann upset the number eight seed Karolina Sprem in Linz today, 7-5 4-6 6-1. Meghann played very well, and scored her first top 20 win since Doha.

Generali Ladies Linz
In the second round, Meghann defeated qualifier Julia Schruff 7-5 6-2. That's a nice solid win from Meghann. She plays number five seed and doubles partner Nadia Petrova in the quarterfinals. Good luck Meghann. :)

Meghann defeated wildcard Kelly McCain 3-6 6-1 6-2.

Shaky start, but convincing in the last two sets.

She plays Capriati next. That's a very difficult mtch, but one that Meghann could win. :D

Meghann lost to Capriati 4-6 6-3 6-4. :(

da boot in the first round of the AO...disappointing. I know Meghann can do better! Let's hope she rocks the house at Indian Wells this spring!

Meghann hasn't started the season very well. With big points coming off in the Middle East, I'm getting worried.

Good luck Meghann!

Meghann has withdrawn from the Tokyo Pan Pacific Open with an injury. :(

That would have been a great chance to pick up cheap points.
