Re: <<<<Cagla Buyukakcay>>>>

Yes she beat Bonaventure playing decent tennis. Bonaventure has big powerful shots but lacks control. Bonaventure gifted some easy Unforced Errors that could have been clean winners and change the match.

So nice result for Cagla but she can do better with good coaching.
Please tell her to move closer to the baseline. She is standing too far back, which forces her to always be in defensive position. She's got to move forwards all the time. Can't wait for every ball at the base.

She wants to be aggressive because that's how to take control of the points. But her positioning doesn't allow her to get the balls and strike it before her opponent gets in position.

Coach got to fix that. She's got all the shots she needs to reach the top-100. Stop playing from 100 km behind the baseline.
Back to the drawing board. Let's get to work.

Watched an entertaining final set from Calga's first qualifying match in Charleston.

Def Julia Boserup 7-6(1) 1-6 7-6(7).

Would be good if she could get into the Charleston MD again.

Re: <<<<Cagla Buyukakcay>>>>

Cagla's through to the SFs of 75K Dubai this week!

She's the 6th seed there, and she beat Lyudmyla Kichenok 0 & 4 in R1, Amra Sadikovic 2 & 3 in R2, and today in QF she took out top seed Alexandra Dulgheru (WTA 57, CHR 26), 4-6 6-4 6-3

She will face fellow Turk (7)Ipek Soylu (WTA 166) in SF tomorrow
