CharlDa Usually they answer the same thing: the cost is too big for the amount of viewers it brings. That,s why we get some pool, bowling or darts. It isn't watched much, but it is cheap, so the ratio is better

I wonder if they'll even merit your email as being worthy of a response.

I never realized our coverage was so bad. I miss the Sportsnet days as well, with Amelia Island and Charlestonm Moscow and the YEC. I believe we get to see Stanford semis and finals? on an american channel? Not sure. I just wish Eastlink would carry ESPN and ESPN2, so I could see some tennis.

LegionArgentina Canadian girls are better than canadian boys so i don t understand the reason that any TV show the serie.

In Argentina the only matches of girls that we can see its Fed Cup and Grand Slams so you are more luckier than us .

I remember those days. We got YEC and Family Circle Cup and so on. They were good days. I miss those days. Sigh.

Cd is it that expensive to get WTA broadcast rights? Much more so than for the ATP? I'm pretty surprised if it is. It's nice that we have some tennis on TV at least, but I wish it wasn't only ATP.

And no need to rub it in that you'll get to watch Fed Cup on TV Legion!
I find that rather funny. The Argentinians will get to watch it, but we won't, even though it's being held in Canada.

LegionArgentina TyC Sports will watch the serie

CharlDa I miss the sportsnet days But I'm sure as much people would watch women's tier I and II as for Master series. But i think the problem is with cost, it is very expensive to get women's tennis compared to men's tennis so it isn't worth it.

CharlDa TSN shows men's tennis but rarely women's. I doubt we'll see it. I'd love it for sure though!

Now I can't go and there's no way they're going to show it on TV. I'm not very pleased right now.

You never know, they showed the davis cup on tv when it was held in calgary i think a few years ago. So we can only hope.
