So...today is my birthday. Yesterday I closed on a house I owned in the States. Next week, I close on a new condo I am buying here on the island. I am ending my 10 year relationship (very hard, but we are pretty cool about it). I am moving out of our home in a couple weeks...

Geez...talk about starting a new year! Kinda scared, kinda excited.

Any words of wisdom would be appreciated.

Oh...I and started my day by kicking some friends asses in tennis this morning!

Woohoo!!!
Be thankful for another year.

Be thankful for your professional success. A condo AND a new home? You obviously are doing something right.

As difficult as it was, be thankful for the amicable split. As you know, it does NOT always go that smoothly.

Love yourself for being able to walk away from the 10 year relationship. A lot of people could NOT do that and would stay in it no matter how miserable they really are.

Keep playing tennis because it sounds like you love it.
