Jan Hi there

I won't be coming to the US Open this year, unfortunately. I did come in 1999 from the Semis onwards and it was absolutely superb. I would so love to come again, unfortuantely I am short of cash! I saw Serena beat Lindsay and then she went on to take the title.

Do hope you have a great time and see our Lindsay of course!

Wimbledon - 4 July 2002

Just to say that I went to Wimby on 4 July but did not see any ladies semis as I had tickets for Court One and the semis were on Centre.

However we did have very good seats on Court One and saw Lleyton Hewitt playing Schalkon. I was actually cheering Shalkon on but he lost in the 5th set. Hewitt lost his temper conssequently losing the 3rd and 4th sets. He was close to blowing it!

We then saw Krajcek play Mallise. I was pleased Mallise won although I think Richard did very well after being absent for so long. However, he was not very sporting when he lost and left the court almost straight away in a "mood".

Then we saw Anna K playing in the mixed doubles with Jonas Bjorkman. The male onlookers made their usual noises and comments at Anna, of course.

All in all a good day and no rain! Would have been nice to see the ladies but just being at Wimbledon is just so great, oh the atmosphere, there is nothing quite like it.

So we await Lindsay's return at Stanford after WTT and Fed Cup.

From what I could see from the pics she looks fit, just rusty I imagine after losing to Shaugnessy. It will take a little time to get used to WTA pace again I think, but she will get there.

I just can't wait, can you???
