Re: Stephanie Herz

Recently there was an article in which Stephanie was interviewd and due to a car accident in 2006 she is not able to compete on a high level anymore....and she probably needs another surgery...

That is so sad. She was a very good player. Why didn't she talk about the accident before...I guess it was worse then she expected...

Re: Stephanie Herz

She's been doing pretty well in college tennis!

Please play ITF again even if you sucked.

Re: Stephanie Herz

Apparently she's still playing well. She recently beat former WTA-145 Delia Sescioreanu who also went to college in USA.

Re: Stephanie Herz

Guess she's not seriously thinking about playing tennis as a career then...

Re: Stephanie Herz

When was her surgery?

I wish her the best and hopefully a great career in the future. She's still young!

Re: Stephanie Herz

Thanks for the info mauritsolei.

I don't know what to think of this. Even before the accident her results were not that spectacular. She was very good when she was 12 to 14 years old. After that the decline set in although she hardly played tournaments.
I wish for her a healed shoulder. I still have a shoulder problem after a ski accident which occurred 10 years ago. They are really nasty injuries.
