Re: Caroline Garcia

well at least we know she'll play sydney as her 1st tournament in 2017

hopefully she'll make a very good fitness preparation and perhaps hire a personal fitness trainer to make her be ready for every big tournament she enters

she has natural fitness capacity but to reach the top she must be "intense" on every single match so better work on her fitness to be able to do so

Re: Caroline Garcia

Lots of players take a break from Fed or Davis Cup in their career but I didn't really see this coming. Having said that they probably blew the best chance they would have to win it this year
I hope she will play it again at some point.

I was kidding haha, but yeah she is going to be a big miss for France. She is the only one that really steps up. Kiki and Alize/Oceane is not going to be good enough.

But from what you say it seems like her thought process behind it is encouraging which is good to see. She seems to be focused on becoming a top player and i hope that she rises next year.

She is right in what she said, just a little sad for the team. She said she is sure they (with her) will win the Fed Cup title in next years.
Merci pour l'article mais j'arrive pas à bien lire le texte c'est flou

Re: Caroline Garcia

Well I was hoping her to say : "I decide to work with a real staff to prepare for next year, my choice goes to Gabriel Urpi as my coach and Xavier Moreau as my fitness coach"

well I can understand her not wanting to play fed cup but if she's really serious about ambitioning a top10 spot she should play less and think her schedule wisely

shouldnt play before a slam and yes focus on coming fresh and well prepared before a slam. Fed cup is not "THE" problem imo

the day she'll say I'm trying to work hard to get to another "dimension" but she wont do it without a real and preofessional entourage

Jow has she said something about her entourage? well now we know she's going to Florida (US) to make her preparation...

not that impressed about this information to be honest

Re: Caroline Garcia

I am not surprised, in fact i had a feeling she would not play after the final.

I had to use translate on an article to read, but it seems like she said something about wanting to become better before coming back so she can win it next time.

Thing is, without Caroline they might get relegated!

Of course she won't say the real reason. She is pissed about what happened in the final and is tired of carrying dead weight and plans to form her own Fed Cup team 'Caroland'

Re: Caroline Garcia

I think she will play. But she is the only one to not play with Keys, Kvitova and Gavrilova (Hopman Cup for Kvitova and Gavrilova) in the top30.. so here it is not depending of her.

Re: Caroline Garcia

Caro needs to secure a top 24 seeding so she can avoid a top 8 player in the third round so i hope she plays something.

Re: Caroline Garcia

Ok so I ve just checked the entry list of the 1st tournaments of next year (Brisbane, Shenzen,Auckland) and no sign of Caroline...

what to say? is that a sign of bigger maturity and wisdom?is she want something completely different from what she have done till now?
or she only forgot to enter in 1 of those tournaments?I dont see her in sydney neither...
