Very interesting SF match against Gabriela Ruse (WTA 680), a fellow top junior (peaked at #7 in May) who is about 6 months younger than her... Gabi hasn't won any pro tournament this year (unlike Anna who has won 3 10Ks), hasn't even made a final actually... But she'll still be dangerous, GL Anna!
42 ret with Gabriela Ruse.

Last week she lost 6-4 3-6 0-6 to Sezer in QF

This week, she's through to the QFs again, seeded 3 this time, with wins over Eetee Maheta in R1, 7-5 6-2, and qualifier Anastasia Zarytska (a junior Top 50), 3 & 0

Anna is in Antalya again this week

She's the 5th seed, beat (WC)Sladjana Saveljic 3 & 1 in R1, and (Q)Chiara Grimm (a Swiss 18 yo who was a junior Top 100 player) 3 & 3 in R2 today

QF vs. (2)Melis Sezer (WTA 399, CHR 336)

She's also through to the dubs semis again with Rebeka (they're the 3rd seeds)

Once again very stupid choice because 25k Istanbul has a very strong list. She has spent all year playing 10ks when there are so many tournaments every week and she decides to play 25k at the end of the year where she will have to qualifying? She also played the toughest 25ks on tour in USA at the start of the year. She seems like a really promising girl but the scheduling is embarrassing.
