Klara's not bothering with the qualies of the US Open.

^ Based on her experience.

Which I guess didn't matter, as she fell to Stephanie, 36 57

I don't believe it!

Fell shockingly easily, 1 & 3

Well, have to take this as a semi-successful outing, with winning two matches back to back.

Wow, outstanding win against Mindy!

Interesting match against Cagla. Cagla won Instabul a month ago, and Klara is 0-1 against her (on hardcourt). Still there will be pressure on Cagla who's trying to make her first-ever slam appearance, while Klara has oodles of experience at the slam level. Gluck to Klara

crazylace01 Cagla will be tough, but here's hoping experience will help!

TatiGolovin Klara rising from the dead Beat Minella 7-6 6-0. Not sure how she could possibly bagel anyone with what her form has been so I'm assuming this means she's playing better Really tough match next vs Cagla. Shock us all Kookie

Easy win, 2 & 2. This is her first victory since beating Patricia Tig in the qualies of St. Petersburg, back in February.

Now Mandy. Mandy's also had a dismal claycourt season, and was on a 3-match losing streak coming into qualies, plus Klara just has more experience at this level.

Interestingly, these two have never played each other before.

Roland Garros

Klara is currently on a 7-match losing streak and back in the qualies of the French Open for the first time since 2007

She's lucky however to be facing Polina Lykina, a Russian who's playing in her first slam event and also on a 4-match losing streak, in the first round. So good luck to her!
