Re: Laura Siegemund

There was a tweet from the WTA about her schedule, she would love to have a WC for Rome; I guess if she won't get one (I can't really see that happening) she'll probably play the ITF event.

The plan (before Stuttgart) was to play ITF Tour. She is still on the entrylist for $100,000 Trnava.

Good stuff today congrats!
I hope she has enough energy left for Lucic but we´ll see, Lucic has the power to dominate Laura but she often is not consistent enough, so Laura has good chances!
I guess she will withdraw from next week if she goes far here also and then tries to get ready for Nürnberg, really amazing weeks for Laura with good wins non stop, good that she has a day off tomorrow!

^ I don't think any sane person has ever thought otherwise.

It's really great that she got to play and win a three-setter finally, first one since Charleston. Her dropshots were even better than usual today and she seemed much calmer too. I get the feeling that she is starting to feel like she belongs at this level and she actually considered herself the favourite against Svetlana.

I think we can say Laura's best surface is clay

Re: Laura Siegemund

Laura could beat Kuze as well , very strong first set and after a strong fight she could reach the next round here .

Re: Laura Siegemund

Who are the scrubs that got Madrid wildcard?

I'm sure their useless ass is already out - meanwhile Laura sweats in qualies and yet she proved her worth by making it to R1 and earning a spot agaisnt a clay slam winner

What an unfair tennis life - yet Laura is 4-0 up already, proving her worth.

Bad luck here. But Kuznetsova retired in Prague, is she injured? But of course we also have to see why Siegemund retired in doubles today.
Sveta withdrew with an abdominal injury from her SF yesterday, not sure how serious it is, she did not look that great in Prague in general, so there is a chance for Laura but it obviously will be very tough if Sveta can play on a good level, not the best draw obviously, hope for a good match.
