In fact, the vast majority of players ranked between c. 60 and c. 120 I was hoping to see in action are not coming

No Sasha No Crazy Katka No Kris Plis No Boobges No Sorana No Denisa No Margarita No Mynx

Even Witthöft is skipping the RC despite having 135 points to defend from last year's run to the R16 :smh:

Worst. Rogers Cup. Qualies list. Ever. Not in terms of the actual caliber of players involved, but in terms of missing almost all the players *I* wanted to see

Can't believe Garcia also opted to play the European post-Wimbledon MM claycourt events and skip Montreal. Here goes my chance to see Carotina live

Fack the Olympics. I'm in ruins
OMG do you stan her now

^Only Yulka & her sis are training there, and it's gonna make Baby Yulka even more dangerous because her tennis is awesome

Nichka hurt her left arm in Roehampton - probably a bad fall - and I have no idea how serious her injuery is

BE-LA-RUSSS!

Looks like the BTF have tremendously boosted their efforts to promote tennis in the country: not so long ago they were barely updating their official website, now they're updating it + their social media constantly - about the players' results and every single tennis event going on in the country -, they've built tons of courts and new fitness facilities, they've hired Abdul Sillah (who is an awesome fitness coach, coached Serena a few years ago), I'm really happy for all the players and the results are already showing in terms of performance improvement
