Thank you so much for Laura's schedule
I've been her fan since 2012 and I'm so eager to see her playing decent tennis again. Hope 2016 will bring some positives

They should both be seeded, so unlikely to be a first round match, but maybe they will be fighting for a place in the maindraw in the last Q round?

Hi, welcome!

Laura's provisional schedule so far is...

1. 25k Surprise-qualifying
2. 25k Rancho Santa Fe- qualifying
3. WTA Monterrey- MD via SR
4. WTA Indian Wells- MD (I think) via SR

She also could get a WC into Miami as she is with IMG. There was also an article which mentioned she wanted to play Charleston, but that hasn't been confirmed or anything as the entry list is not out yet.

That doesn't mean she's not working hard in training. She did post a quick picture on twitter of her training, but she''s not going to fully document it for her fans...

I hope maybe Laura got a last minute WC into a tournament or something. Or even taking some time out to do more training would be good.

With Jo singles form the girls might make it out to group 2.Just avoid Azarenka.

Mr.Sparkle She is on the entry list for 25k Surprise. I agree and have mentioned before that Laura should play the 10ks in the UK but she is sticking to US events. I doubt she will get any play in Fed cup but at least she will get to bond with the girls.

Yes, that is both a big strength and a big weakness for Laura. I mean, she can play terribly against high ranked opponents but in general she raises her game on those occasions. Conversely, she can thrash scrubs, but I think as soon as she starts to struggle in the match, she brings herself down too quickly. As I said before, a sports psychologist would do wonders, maybe even more than it did for Jo.

Andy' Yeah, maybe when I think Laura Robson made second week of Wimbledon once, made the fourth round, and had an opportunity there that you start thinking that it's possible.

Andy still waiting for Laura, long wait Andy

Yes Laura need o see a sport Psychologist.

Re: Return Winner: The Laura Robson support thread.

She needs match practice and 10K is probably the place to get it. The UK series coming up would be ideal except she'd attract the press's attention and currently she doesn't need it. Fed Cup does not sound like a good idea.

Tbh she's always had a tendency to play to the level of her opponent, whatever level that is. Sports psychology might help with that.
