Re: Natalia Siedliska

Ah well, almost.

She's off to college anyway in the fall, so she can't take the prize money and the ranking doesn't really matter that much either, so I guess she's playing mostly for fun at the moment.

Jerem Natalia started well, winning her first service game to lead 1-0*... Then she lost 1-6 1-6 Not a great result to end this good week, but she still made an unexpected good run there.

She's in the semis of the Angie Open.

R2: def. Julia Wachaczyk 6-3 6-4
QF: def. Katharina Lehnert 7-6 6-3

SF vs. Brozda or Rohanova

Edit: Ok what were the odds that we were both typing a post about her at the same time in a thread that had 50 messages in 4 years?

Jerem Now that Natalia has become German, she finally starts to play in Poland She has just qualified for the semifinals at 10k Puszczykowo, beating Baluu, Wachaczyk and Lehnert in straight sets. This is only her second semifinal in more than a year and a half, but I hope a lot more are about to come

Jerem She started to have some good results at the end of 2013, but has lost a lot since... This loss is not really a good one.

Re: Natalia Siedliska

MOBILE, Ala. – Head coach Jaco Keyser announced Tuesday that Natalia Siedliska has signed a National Letter of Intent and will join the women's tennis program for the 2015-16 academic year.

A native of Poland that currently resides in Hamburg, Germany, Siedliska holds a No. 822 singles ranking by the ITF.

"I'm very excited to have Natalia join our tennis program," Keyser said. "She's an extremely talented player with plenty of worldwide experience and success, as is evident through her WTA rankings."

One of the top Polish juniors, Siedliska has won six ITF doubles titles and one ITF singles crown in her career. She attained a No. 626 singles ranking in August and was ranked as high as No. 446 in doubles.

"Natalia doesn't just share our vision to become an elite tennis program, but she also has professional ambitions," Keyser said. "The future definitely looks bright with one of the top recruiting classes in the nation for the 2015-16 academic year."
