Re: Patricia Maria Tig

And both Siegemund and Karatantcheva lost so she didn't have a chance for LL, after AKS's withdrawal . If only one would have won .......

Match was streamed but I didn't see it :

She'll still have doubles on Wednesday though:

Solovyeva/Zanevska v Dushevina/Krejcikova
Olaru/Tig v (4)Niculescu/Siegemund
Panova/Savchuk v Ivakhnenko/Marozava
Knoll/Schuurs v (2)Hlavackova/Hradecka

I would say the organisers were very good to her

Less than 20 hours later on a different continent and with the flight time and any acclimatising issues having to play a match against an Aussie on home soil! Tough on even the most seasoned pro.
Just had to say that!!

That's what all the players have to deal with in these situations unfortunately. It happens in many of the weeks throughout the calendar year , no matter the player's name

Anyway, her next tournament will be WTA Premier St. Petersburg (qualifying) , starting on the 6th of February

Tough loss

Still looking to see her continue her rise up the rankings this year. She ended 2015 at #115, up from #245 the previous year.
