Re: Tara Moore

Loses in R1 of Salop today. Disappointing on home soil and it's been a pretty dire year really.

It looked really bad on the livestream. She was crying for 15 minutes or so until she left the court on a stretcher.

I think worth ethic is key. She would be one o those players a recently departed from the LTA coach stated wouldn't make sacrafices fpr the game. She is social, parties a lot, gets over loses quickly with cake etc etc etc. She simply doesn't do that extra the top pros need to make it. She's not willing to put the extra in, reshape her body to compete with the best, kill her social life to aid recovery, change her diet ettc to make it.

I think she's a natural talent but she just doesn't want it badly enough. For example just before Wimbledon qualifying, by far her biggest tournament of the year, she went to Amsterdamn for a "weekend getaway". This may have been her way of relaxing, I don't know, but I can't see too many players ranked 300+ doing the same if they had an opportunity to play slam qualies.

Oh my god. A broken finger will take 6 weeks to heal. Such bad luck, Tara.
