Good tournament... ShuShu had to lose though in the final.

So that's why they were practicing that dance before. Well done Lucie and Beth.

I loved what Serena said to the journalist about Lucie/the match

Lucie

Serena leads Head To Head now 10-0

And it was a bad draw. Serena won the Aus Open title this year

So happy with Lucie winning in doubles! And that draw isn't too bad....hope for revenge vs Ozaki/Doi.

She's on the alt list for Doha so she may play qualies there.

I don't like to post here anymore because this website kind of sucks, just saying hi. I was at the Aus Open and I saw her match where she saved 9 MPs. I nearly had heart failure but it was pretty awesome.

Cermak isn't a good coach. In practice he just hits with her. I don't know how long he will last.

I'm not sure if her practice in December was good/long enough. Maybe she feels like she needs to work more before the US Premier tournaments in March. Playing Budapest only means almost no travel, more time at local courts. I think it's a good decision.

I don't know if she can afford not to play, but Lucie has always been a hard-worker. The time off won't be wasted. Hope she's saving herself for the clay season.

Yes, so sad that Lucie and Rob Steckley split. I miss him

But as @HelloPliskie said Rob is a father, and understandably he wants to spend as much time as possible with his family. All the travelling on the WTA Tour as a coach and at the same time being a father and husband is very hard to combine
