Nightcrawl3r That's good. She told me she isn't sure of Australia when she withdrew then, but the French clubs matches and that pic from Instagram where she was training in Poiana Brasov are encouraging signs .

Re: Ana Bogdan

Limoges had a tough field, she would have most likely not gained a lot of points there, especially if playing with that injury. Smart move to start focusing on 2017. Hopefully she doesn't pull a "Ana Bogdan" and skip the AO.
She did however return to play in french interclubs today.

Re: Ana Bogdan

Exactly like in Iasi, they lost in the second match, 36 16 to favorites Bonic/Cadar
Her career as a doubles specialist is seriously lagging right now

Re: Ana Bogdan

Bad loss this Ana was really sloppy and seemed slow and not motivated, even tho this tournament could have been important for her ranking Imo Ana didn't have any really bad losses this whole year, even in the matches she lost, she at least played some good tennis.... not really the case today, unfortunately.

We'll see how the final entry list will look like... but as of now this looks much stronger than the 100k

Re: Ana Bogdan

^ Perhaps after a few nice WTA wins, the girls think ITF is a p.o.c. and/or not worth giving more than 80% out on court... But Ana should really give her all (or close) these weeks, because she still has a shot at that AO MD spot.

Re: Ana Bogdan

From what should have been a Romanian encounter, turns out there will be no Romanians in the QF , although quite many were in the MD ....

Edit: Next - Bratislava 25k (IH) from the 7th of November.

Re: Ana Bogdan

Let's see how Sharm goes. If she flops early, then might as well stop, she'll still be pretty far. Best case scenario, 140pts would get her close to a total 600pts which might be enough but right on the limit.

That's a guaranteed paycheck of $100k she can count on next season

She could still play 125k's or even something in ITF in November but most likely she'll call it a year after Sharm by the looks of it...
But she'll drop the 25k won Brittish ITF tournament points from last year ,so she'll have to play more if she wants that Aussie Open MD spot . Usually she played in November.

The weird part (for me) was that she was scheduled to come back on European IH in Poitiers after Egypt, but she withdrew in the weekend looks like it. Maybe you saw the list after the withdrawal .

Doubles match will be today (Tuesday) not before 7 p.m (streamed) .

Re: Ana Bogdan

Looks like her serve let her down in the third Still a good showing, winning a set against Pliskova.
