Yes, she does hold her racket strangely, I wouldn't be able to play like that...
But then again, who am I to judge another's tennis skills

|arn||I think it's the same and diferent at the same time Well, in the first picture she is taking a ball that's bouncing very high, in the second the ball is a lot lower and she's also more at the end of her movement. You have to adjust your technic because it's a different kind of ball, but it stays +- the same forehand ofcourse|

Elke Clijsters' FOREHAND
Whenever I see her play, I always find it an "awkward" motion
It looks as if the whole racquet sticks to her right arm. She doesn't use her wrist much to generate power, does she? Has anyone else noticed this too? I know I'm not really good at the technical terms, but I tried to explain it. It just looks rather unorthodox! I can't find (good) pictures of Elke's forehand either
