She should play Qualies, she needs matches. Anyway she should get into Dubai MD.

Belinda for tournaments in Doha and Dubai will have wild cards, or not play?

She needs results badly before clay season, or a lot of this season could get wasted.
Yes, her ranking may fall out of the top 100, but she won't have too much trouble getting wild cards pretty much anywhere (as we've already seen at Sydney, for example). However, playing qualifying may be a blessing in disguise to get her match fitness and confidence back, as long as she stays healthy.

On the 22nd of November she told 'Der Tagesanzeiger', a Swiss journal, that she would prepare for the new season in Switzerland with Melanie Molitor, Martina Hingis' mom. Apparently she changed her mind: just a few weeks later she went to the USA and decided to train at the Evert Tennis Academy near Boca Raton. The reason why she changed her program so abruptly wasn't clear at the moment the article was written.

^Not sure. Needless to say, let's hope she gets and stays fully fit in 2017, and a large part of that is scheduling more wisely. I've never seen such an injury-riddled season, as Belinda's was since reaching the top 10, for someone who didn't have a long-term injury/rehab.
