Re: Tereza Mrdeza cheering thread

She and Stokke retired in doubles QF after losing the first set 6:1.

Hopefully it's not Tereza cause she really seems to have played a good match finally today, leaving her opponent (ranked around 500) with 28 points won from 12 games played.

Re: Tereza Mrdeza cheering thread

Hmm, looks like something might be wrong with Tereza. At this week's $25K in Italy, she lost in R2 to a 27-yo WC (#868; CH #305 way back in 2010).

It wasn't even close: 16 16

Then in doubles, she and her partner won the first game, then retired

Hele.
Re: Tereza Mrdeza cheering thread

Into QF after her opponent retired at 6-7(7) 7-6(2) 3-0

But some huge choke in first set after wasting 6 SPs into 3 different occasions (5-4 and 6-5 up and in the tie-break)

Re: Tereza Mrdeza cheering thread

After the QF at 60k Artvin (lt. Herdzelas in 3) and a R1 loss in the subsequent 25k in Bagnatica, Tereza is in Hungary this week for a 25k in Balatonboglar.

R1:

N.-C. Dascalu def. (Q) D. Negreanu 5:2 ret.
T. Mrdeza def. [4] K. Von Deichmann 6:3, 6:3

Maleckova/Smitkova def. [4] Bonic/Pribylova 6:3, 6:1
Grabher/Mrdeza def. Horvath/Szalai 6:0, 6:2

So far...

That's a 60k in the week of Slam qualies?

Free points on offer. GL

Re: Tereza Mrdeza cheering thread

Well, she doesn't have a terrible amount of points to defend by the year's end, so this might be a chance to increase her shots of making the AO, and even RG, qualies next year.

Re: Tereza Mrdeza cheering thread

Lipa Reza plays her QF in 2 hours vs Herdzelas
a lot of points to grab here.
If she wins she plays winner of Raina/Aksu. Looks easy on paper.
And she defeated this Russian girl 6-2 6-2.

Ana Vrljic lost to Raina

live ranking of Reza - 224
with a win she should be 214
with final in this event - 202
with title - 183 (where she belongs, ahead of Azarenka and Slumpanovic from Srbija).

doubles R1: Ce/Raina def. Herdzelas/Mrdeza 7:5, 6:4

Re: Tereza Mrdeza cheering thread

even tho she lost to this terrible grabher, jadna terezo and this terrible grabher is now beating magda frech 7-6(11) in SF,
Tereza made the final in doubles with Ain't Kita Rain-a from India and this final is yet to be played.
IF the weather in Leipzig is same like in Munich, then i feel sorry for our blonde beauty
