QWC for Nastia at WTA St-Pet

(1)Siegemund v Komardina
Martincova v Krejcikova
Dushevina v Kozlova
(wc)Detiuc v (7)Zanevska

Maryna is beatable imo... Q2 would be a lot harder. GL!

I haven't seem enough pictorial evidence to form a definite judgment, but her face certainly looks different compared to when she was younger. I'm not sure puberty alone can do that.

For her sake, I'll assume there's no actual tobacco in those pipes...

Yes, 2002 born Masha is the ginger one, mystery solved. She's way more promising her homonym btw, even though the best 2002 Russian girl is Daria Frayman by far (at least atm).

Also excited about how Vita is gonna do this year.

Ah, so there are two of them. No face job then, just a bit of confusion on my part (again ). Turns out the few photos I had found were of the other, younger Maria Novikova (the redhead born in 2002). Found a few pics of Nastia's friend here (from 2011).

Re: Tennis Moldova

They do have a couple of pretty talented girls in Nastia and Vita, but yeah, it's tough for tennis players from there, quite a lot of them relocated abroad (Czech Rep, Poland) from what I could gather, they lost their 2 top juniors before Nastia (Bolsova and Bucsa) who both took Spanish nationality a year or 2 ago... It looks like Vita is based in Chisinau though.

Adriana played G1 RPM Junior Open in Prague this week, she was the 8th seed and had a bye in R1, beat Maria Solnyshkina 3 & 3 in R2, but got thrashed by 12th seed Irina Cantos Siemers in R3 today, 0 & 3
She turned 18 last Sunday btw, so I guess she will stop playing juniors soon, maybe after the G2 in Chisinau next month?
