Add exact date of birth and death.

Born 11th January 1922 San Diego

Married 1947 John Struthers (1918 to 2011)

Died 8th January 2001 San Diego.

Before marriage described as San Diego schoolteacher.
Played singles in US Championships 1949 where she lost to Gussie Moran.

Daughter is Mary Struthers who played tennis in 1970's and has entry on
www.tennisforum.com/64146249-post3750.html

Married Anthony Dusard Arscott on 2 November 1957 in Lyndhurst Methodist Church, Kingston, Jamaica

Active circa 1955-65. Joan notably won the women's singles title at the All-Jamaican Championships twice, in 1956 under her maiden name, and in 1960 under her married name.

Active circa 1955-75. Verity Scott notably won the women’s singles title at the All-Jamaica Championships several times in the late 1950s/early 1960s. She was a medical practitioner by profession. Her Irish mother’s maiden name was Gordon; her father was English.

Active circa 1938-42. Thora notably won the women’s singles title at the All-Jamaican Championships in 1941 under her first married name of Bado. She and her second husband later settled in the USA.

A Jamaican player whose identity is difficult to pin down: Mrs C.S. Johnstone. She won the women's singles title at the All-Jamaica Championships at least once, in 1952. She was more than likely the wife of Cecil Stuart Ferdinand Johnstone...

Yes, I'm sure that's the same person, but her married name is misspelt, it should be McNair. That's how it's always spelt in genealogical and contemporary sources.

Active circa 1940-50. Popularly known as Hope, this player won the women's singles title at the All-Jamaican Championships three times and the same title at the Jamaican Hard Court Championships at least the same number of times.

Active circa 1940-50. Daughter of the lawn tennis player Vera Weston, who played at Wimbledon. As this article reveals, Gillian is also a keen golfer and was still alive as of 2013: Golfer's still in the swing of it at 95 (From Swindon Advertiser)

Active circa 1925-50. One of Jamaica's top lawn tennis players for more than two decades, Jean McNair was several times a singles finalist at the All-Jamaican Championships.
