That was the point I was trying to make. She's playing the top seed in her home country. Oceane did well to take a set.

It is about becoming a better player, not remaining a kind of a BBB. She waisted an opportunity here. Babos beating Goerges in 2 sets...

Re: Océane Dodin

This is not a bad loss. Babos is tough to beat considering she's at home and has a good serve.

Re: Océane Dodin

in fact she was 3-1 in 1st set then *4-3, babos put much intensity and Océane was errors machine.

it was very embarrasing to watch at times cause she was bashing the ball harder and harder, playing on babos better shot (backhand), no real tactics except this BBB!

I am tough with her about fed cup and this result proves how much work Océane must do. She's playing always the same way with bad footwork. Babos is top40 and her actual game is not enough to beat her.

Better be humble girl and be nice with the fft who can help you to become a more better player than that. She was coached by goven paid by the fft then decided to split.

She's bad advised for sure.

Océ choked a *4-3 lead in the first set, but she's just levelled to 4-6 6-2 vs. Babos

Allez!

Allez Océane! Be merciless ...
She really does love playing indoors.

And she still looks stunning in that Nike.

She will play Korpatsch in the next round.
Cute draw. Océ might have actually won a couple of matches here even if it wasn't indoors.
