Re: Océane Dodin

So what is the thing with her horrible schedule ? she is not even in WTA in Europe like Luxembourg, Linz and so on.. i don't understand AT ALL her schedule this year. It's time for her to leave ITF and go to WTA definitely !

Re: Océane Dodin

she probably thought better play this tournament than only practice by her own

she didnt plan to play the asian tournaments so she has to deal with those itf in europe

good to keep playing and make her confidence keep growing to get ready for Linz and Luxemburg

would be great seing her finish the year in success

crazylace01 Well if she doesn't want to go to Asia, seems like this may be her only choice.

Re: Océane Dodin

WTF is she doing in Clermont-Ferrand? With her new ranking, really seems like a waste of energy.

Re: Océane Dodin

Océane back to itf circuit, playing 25K Clermont Ferrand, on indoor hard

she's seeded n°1 and play Quirine Lemoine(NED) in 1st round. Océ already played her this year in another 25K in Belgium, it was on clay and she won.

Allez Océ keep the win UP!

she was not sereine at the end of this 2nd set, I cant imagine how it would have been in a 3rd set. Davis can play so many balls

I think during this off season, she has to put the accent on her fitness, go work in the altitude of big mountains

I still remember Amélie doing that with others french players(nathalie, mary, emilie) and we all know how great fitness and stamina Amélie used to have.

I hope there will be another "stage" programmed by the fft during the off season and that océane will be part of it.

Félicitations!

Thanks to her nice attacking game and bubbly personality, Océane was a hit not only with Québec's tennis fans, but with local journos as well:

Who is her management company? I was shocked she wasn't IMG for some reason....

Sometimes, miracles happen. That was on full display this week. First of what should be many titles for Oceane. Congratulations

Re: Océane Dodin

very wise move to go play on clay cause on this surface she HAS TO be patient and learn how to construct points and finally make a winner or ... not.

but she still has to improve on her FITNESS and FOOTWORK, hopefully she'll be able to hire someone who will make her work HARD in those two aspects sooo important

I still find her too skinny and lacking some stamina (end of this 2nd set)

I was also thinking, perhaps Amélie will call her for the fed cup finale later in France, hopefully she will be there and why not play?

Well-done, Océ! I hope this is only a sign of many good things to come!
Actually, I can't explain it, but I had a feeling, an intuition it was gonna happen. Let's be honest, clay will never be her best surface, so for her to get all these wins on clay, I knew she had worked on a few things and improved her game.
She was already great on fast indoor so there was no reason for her to not excel again after the work she did in the last few months.
