Wow - i really did not expect a win over Kuzzy. Looks like we may soon have a new #1.

Good win by Dasha. Showed a bit of spark out there :-)

Great win for Dasha over Keys today! I know Keys is slumping, but Daria has hardly been setting the world alight herself

Re: Daria Gavrilova

Hi everyone! I'm the reincarnation of Killerqueen, and I'm back! I've barely used TF in the last couple years, and looking back I haven't posted in here for over two years now, but I've still been following Daria and her delightful wackiness closely through the time I've been away!

It's so cool to see how far Daria has come over the last few years. I know her form hasn't been great in 2017, but I'm so happy that she's managed to establish herself into a tour regular, and a player that can challenge the best faces on her day. For no apparent reason, I started looking out for her results back in like 2011/12 and it's cool to see where she's at now, because there were some horrific results back in her ITF days and it's nice to have not spent that time invested in supprting someone who would ultimately bomb.

Re: Daria Gavrilova

Probably a good thing that Dash messed up her Rome entry and is in qualies. She has a stash of points to defend from here last year - yeah?

Re: Daria Gavrilova

It will be such a blessing in disguise if Dasha can beat Sasnovich and Pironkova to qualify, two quality top 100 players. Dasha needs the wins and has been losing her first or second match in every tournament lately.
On the flip side, it will be bad news for her confidence if she loses here and Sasnovich particularly is a quality opponent.

^ Another example of how Dasha doesn't seem switched on this year.

Exactly! Of course, the most Australian thing she could do was nab an Australian boyfriend
