Laura's tentative schedule looks like this for now:

3-9 April $25k Istanbul, Indoor Hard
10-16 April $60k Istanbul, Outdoor Hard (withdrew from the $80k Indian Harbour Beach)

17-23 April Fed Cup Week - ITF entry lists not yet out

It'd be nice if she could sneak into the Qualies at WTA Istanbul (24-30 April) and Rabat (1-6 May) but we'll see. Once June rolls around there are 4 consecutive weeks of $100k tournaments on grass in England
....unless Watson goes deep in Monterrey.

She wouldn't drop much further than 250 once these all come off. I think the RG entry cut off is around 17 April this year but unsure when the Qualifying entry list is done.
Qualifying is May 1

Her points are fairly spread around but there's a chunk to be defended this month. 13 from Stuttgart, 30 from Rabat (her 2nd biggest total) and 10 from Madrid. It makes up about a fifth of her total. If she loses first round for rest of April she could drop 30 to 40 places to mid-200s.

I hope Laura will play the $100k Manchester Trophy because I will probably go.

Actually it's probably unlikely because it's the same week as Nottingham and I'd assume they would wildcard her if she couldn't get in.

I'm pretty disappointed. Moustache has good touch but she doesn't have any major weapons to hurt anyone with really. Even if she plays better indoors, Laura should play better than her indoors.

At least she's still in doubles I guess. It's currently 5-5 now in the first set.

Re: Return Winner: The Laura Robson support thread.

It looks like Laura got tight or totally lost focus at points in this match.

Towards the end of the first set she suddenly goes AWOL and loses 10 points in a row.

Then serving at *5-5 second set she hits three DFs to give up a break. Manages to break back immediately but then checks out after winning the first point of the TB. The second point was a Mestach DF, then Mestach won seven points in a row with Laura double faulting on match point.

Stats say 1 ace for Laura; 12 double faults.

I fear it may have been your mistake, e.g. you replied to the thread rather than to my post. Anyhow, it made some sense. I understood it.

Re: Return Winner: The Laura Robson support thread.

Lost 4-6 6-7(2)
11.Dfs.
Led.4-1 in the 2nd
Won the first 2pts in TB and Lost the Next 7

Expected Mestach is better indoors and likes revenge matches.

Moving on with another loss
