She really does love playing indoors.

And she still looks stunning in that Nike.

Cute draw. Océ might have actually won a couple of matches here even if it wasn't indoors.

Re: Océane Dodin

I agree with that and I said it there several times. Oceane let the french fed cup team down, she never commit to it nor put real efforts to be part of this team. Even in the finale I think she didnt want to play.

she is behaving as an arrogant young player, a player who accepted the french federation €€€€ but refusing to play for her country : FRANCE.

Kristina was comparing with Amandine Hesse real commitment to the team, she cried because she couldnt play and win a point for France. What's hard to understand here?

Kristina is thousand times a more likeable personne than Oceane, a patriot who always fight and play for her country. As she said she has values and is kind of disappointed to see that the this "so called french player" dont.

Re: Océane Dodin

So now the charmante Mladenovic claims she was talking shit about Océane and not Garcia.

Re: Océane Dodin

To be honest, I don't really have an opinion one way or the other. I just respect her choice and can see why she'd wanna focus on her game right now. Of course these losses are disappointing though...

Re: Océane Dodin

so you still think it was a great ideam coming there and refusing to play for her country?

3 tournois wta= 3 défaites au 1er tour des qualifs.

Re: Océane Dodin

Wow, terrible loss... when was the last time Rodina won a match against a decent player?

Re: Océane Dodin

Finally she's playing again in a tournament. It would be great to see her win some matchs there

she's playing rodina in R1, then the winner of king/pironkova

the draw :

(2/wc)Jankovic v Hibino
Goncalves v Ozaki
Rodina v Dodin
King v (8)Pironkova

Re: Océane Dodin

I understand what you are saying. But I am sure we will see her in Fed Cup soon
I just don't think it's necessarily that bad to focus on her game and ranking right now. She has improved over the last few months, let's see how far she can go. She has plenty of time to play Fed Cup.

Anyway, she IS in Doha qualies! Plays Rodina. Then it would be Jankovic, whom she beat at the USO a few (2?) years ago.

Re: Océane Dodin

well I deduced she thinks this "format" is useless for her career from what she said before. That's pure deduction but you r right I should add " she PROBABLY" think this group thing is useless for her career..."

she's too young imo with no experience of the top to refuse a fed cup selection. She's not Federer nor Serena Williams. She has to improve her game and tactics but she prefers to stay with dad on their side.
Not fair to her formation with the fft money. She has to pay it back. Well that's my opinion. And many french are thinking quite the same. Not a positive image to her.

Re: Océane Dodin

I don't think it's fair to put words in her mouth like that. Saying she thinks "this group thing is useless for her career" for example. As professional tennis players, they have a choice to accept or refuse a Davis/Fed Cup selection, and a LOT of players opt out of certain ties. She has her reasons, just like Caroline does, and I, for one, think we need to respect that.

That being said, it would be nice if she played Doha qualies. Anyone knows? List is STILL not out.
