I thought the announcement was supposed to be in May.

The top eight do not want to spend five weeks in China, except maybe Na.

Based on Stacy's comments about Li Na's importance, and timing of the announcement, sounds like autumn in China for the WTA.

Are there any good juniors coming up, in China? That looks like an important area for the tour's financial future
