Re: Caroline Garcia

For WTA interviews you get taken to the players area and she was just out of her match. A lot of players are often there with their coach that soon after the match so i wasn't surprised. If it was a while after then yes i would have found it strange but with it being so soon after the match i wasn't shocked, especially with the state she was in.

Anyway, as much as it wasn't how i wanted to see her (it was not nice seeing her cry. Made me sad for a while after) i still got to meet her and she was nice despite everything. I have seen many players after a loss and they are sometimes down and disappointed, but that was the first time i have had one cry and it just had to be Caro which made it worse for me.

I spoke to Garbine after her loss to Begu and she was all smiles and bubbly, very different from Caroline.

On a side note: Caroline is a very pretty girl. Far better than on camera

Re: Caroline Garcia

nazza always very nice

I agree with Jow, I mean she's 22 yo, she'll turn 23 this year, perhaps it is time for her to take her responsabilities, become more confident about herself without papa and maman being around if somewhat a nasty journalist could "hurt" her!

she must take that lost as a real motivation to get stronger mentally. Cibulkova is in SF now, she 's such a fighter, if you want to beat her you have to be even stronger mentally

she can not come to RG not believing in herself. She has the game of doing great there IF she is positive!

Thank you for sharing

But for me, if her parents were there, there still is a problem, why the hell should they be there for an itw ? to speak if you say something they don't like ? i don't undertand.
But her mom is so nice and cute, i like her very much

Re: Caroline Garcia

No problem

If you are interested in ATP video you can check the Facebook page.

Yes, Caroline was very negative about her chances in Paris. I asked her where she feels he game is at going in there and she basically said it wasn't very good and that she has no expectations.

I asked her: "You won Limoges and played well in the Fed Cup in front of your home fans. So why do you feel you will not do well there"

I asked her about minions because i could see she was upset so i wanted to cheer her up a little. I managed to get her to smile and laugh and i wished her luck and told her that she has a lot of people who believe in her after the interview was over.

Her parents were there and they said thank you and smiled at me too so i think they appreciated my attempt to try make her feel better.

I watched her doubles today and she seemed a lot more relaxed and court and more positive. Hopefully they can take another title together

Re: Caroline Garcia

thank you nazzac for your work, videos, articles

I let a message there

well I just wish for her to come to Roland Garros with a "positive spirit" as I said before, if she comes here as a fighter, the french crowd will cheer for her big and even help her.

last year her match against vekic was "bad" because she hasnt open up and was too negative. The crowd doesnt expect you to win the whole thing Caroline but to fight on EVERY SINGLE POINT even by playing ugly tennis

what matters is to give your absolute everyhing on that day. If she gets RG spirit she'll be more relax and will deliver more. Mary Pierce understood it perfectly, she found peace and loved to play on centre court

I think she should speak with her, Mary is so positive. I love caro ball striking when she's relax, she has to seek for this "peaceful happiness" on the court, just stay humble and fight BIIG

Re: Caroline Garcia

she must have a kind of "blockage" concerning coaching BUT as her dad, he will seek her best,

I dont say it is easy to say to his daughter, "ok so now caroline we tried our best together but for your best I am ready to let my place as a coach because I want you to pass another step and realize your dream to become a top player. I'll always be there as your dad and I believe you can do it wih someone else".

I think it must come from her dad, cause she wont do it by herself. She is so emotionnal.

Re: Caroline Garcia

He can think she is not ready, we don't know about her mind for sure..

Re: Caroline Garcia

what could happen after? she would probably still lose some tough battles but she really needs to try something different

hear another kind of message, way of working. It can't be worse than now. And this part of a tennis professionnal life, you have to go on and what doesnt kill you makes you stronger...

Re: Caroline Garcia

Yes i think he needs to leave her too but maybe he is scared about what could happen after ? If that loss can open their eyes for the better i am happy to take it. If not, it is just sad.

Re: Caroline Garcia

sorry for her too, we like caroline BUT a match is NEVER over even at 6-0 5-0 40-00

caroline should have made something at 6-0 3-0 40-40, this girl cibulkova is such a fighter, she would never give up even at 0-6 0-5 , I think her dad didnt help her too, he went at 3-4 in 2nd set but what he said didnt help her.

the fact she collapsed that hard in 2nd set is something she should not reproduce, those negative thoughts cost her this match. A tennis match is a tough battle and in this 2nd set she had to FIGHT!tha game at 3-5 in this 2nd set, you have no excuses caroline. This is clay and on clay you must fight even bigger

now out of the top50, no more points to defend anymore, allez caro you must believe in yourself, you played like a world n°1 for a large part of this match, keep believe in yourself cause you did GREAT

I think her dad must take its responsabilities and quit as her coach cause she should win those kind of matchs but doesnt. Something must be done NOW.

Re: Caroline Garcia

I think all credits are to Cibulkova who played really better too since 0-3.
Reading she was devastated is heartbreaking because she doesn't deserve that. She works hard and for now it does not pay at all.

But right now i am pissed about Daddy again, because when she fall appart he just was pissed off and was not helping her. He is still complaining when she is not good and i don't think this is the way to help her. No positive at all from him it is really bad.
