I'll take 14.

Good to get another match in.
She needs to get as many matches in as she can and hope the rhythm comes back.

It's not compulsory but there are times that when things get so bad, you can laugh about it. Laura's situation is becoming dire and when you get people looking at the real time score and thinking 'I don't believe what I am seeing', it is time to take a light hearted view of the situation.

Do we have to do this?

For the sake of saying something, I'll say it'll be the same as the last match against a Brit: 1 ace, 15 double faults.

Re: Return Winner: The Laura Robson support thread.

This lucky loser spot is a bit of good fortune. She needs lots of matches in a row. If she's not exhausted I think she could win the next one.

Oh and I'll go for 10 DFs.

I'll say about 11? She might surprise us and do two less than today.
I am not sure whether Laura's current strategy is to practise her serve or practise her double faults.

I think she might be a bit relieved to get another competitive game against a lowly Brit (not quite as lowly as Laura though) but the luck may lessen the pressure she is feeling.

I would go for 4 per set, so 8 if Laura wins in 2.

I am going on the extremely optimistic side and say 9.

Sigh kind knew it , but she need to keep playing more matches.

Katy is the favourite, she's playing her best since around 2nd half of last year. A tough match. Expect alot of errors from both sides

I have no idea what to expect but I do expect it to be messy.

Don't despair she's got a Lucky Loser spot in Round 1

Another disappointing loss. Then I thought, oh well, maybe she and Freya will have some success in the doubles, but I see they're playing the top seeds Mestach and Sanchez - ranked 81 and 59 respectively in doubles. Sanchez got to the Semis in Stanford with Jo last week. So not much chance there either.

Boooo!!!

Next up are $25ks.. Fort Worth and Landisville... She will be in the MD for both and for Fort Worth she will probably be seeded...

I hope she plays better. At least it's good to hear that she is playing better during practice. It's concerning that her return is sooo bad though. Laura used to be soo good at punishing second serves.

Re: Return Winner: The Laura Robson support thread.

Not good even though she won 2 matches in Q.

Her tendency to play down to whatever competitor is across the net. I was just looking at scorelines when either of the Facey sisters plays anyone with a record of any significance or potential. Laura should be getting through those matches in an hour if she's serious about getting any where near the top 100.

I can't imagine she's not miserable out there.
