Brian Stewart A concussion? There's a tennis injury you don't see every day. Geez, this is getting as bad as the NFL.

brunof And the troubles for Eleni continue. Interesting to see Farina-Elia play in qualies. I hope she makes it. The way things are going, she probably will make it futher than Dokic.

TeeRexx Hey, I've seen a guy knocked unconscious and a woman almost have her arm fractured with a tennis ball.

At one time officials were considering having juniors wear safety goggles when playing doubles especially.

I wonder if this incident occurred during a doubles match?

A concussion just means bruising of the brain... and Eleni had to have a rather minor concussion, because a tennis ball simply can't do that much damage. Still though, it's enough to give dizzy symptoms are all.

She should be right for the Open...damn when it rains it pours. What a rotten time of it she's had lately.
