I also agree US open qualifying looks unlikely at present. There's also no US ITF tournaments around that time, so she will have to try else where if she wants to carry on playing.
US Open qualifying entry deadline is on August 1st, so it doesn't look good.

Laura is the no.1 seed in Lexington qualifying...

Laura Robson (1) vs Alexander Facey
Caroline Romeo vs Kat Facey

Madeline Kobelt vs Sabrina Santamaria
Alison Bai vs Priscilla Hon (6)

Surely, she can make it three wins in a row with this draw??? The biggest threat is obviously Priscilla. At the very least she should win her first round match.. Come on Laura!

I'm starting to think the same, she must be getting fed up. She hasn't been able to string one decent run since her comeback.

Tara Moore was her pigeon and losing so close to her must really hurt.

2008 6-3 6-3
2010 7-5 6-1
2011 6-1 6-1

This is a girl she had no problems beating pre-wrist. I'm not surprised she withdrew from doubles, I think she took the loss very hard.

It's horrible how an injury can completely shatter an athlete mentally, to where she has no belief in her abilities any longer.

No word from either as of yet but neither have pulled out of Lexington yet.

She's in qualifying for the $50K Lexington next week.

US Open qualifying is looking more and more less likely now.

Laura/Freya withdraw from doubles. Surely Laura can't be injured again...

Tara also struggles against lefties. It's hard to tell Laura's form though but I hope it's not a drubbing.
