[1]Mestach/Sanchez def. Robson/Christie 7-6(3) 6-3 in the doubles yesterday.

Having this LL spot will mean Laura has played four days in a row. Which is great for keeping her match fit.

It's a better situation than losing a match and not having another match until 2/3 weeks time. Especially when trying to regain some form again.

Thanks Kevin. It's good to know that Laura is at least working hard in practice but it's just that it's not translating to improvement in matches yet. I think especially with her playing style, it must be hard not to be tentative. When I saw her play in Eastbourne, she was frequently hitting very close to the lines and it paid off when she made the shots. But when she wasn't you could tell she was really annoyed about it and spiralling down a slippery slope of negativity.

It's going to be hard but I think Laura is willing to work for it....but I am not quite sure what the limit will be...

I'll take 14.

Good to get another match in.
She needs to get as many matches in as she can and hope the rhythm comes back.

It's not compulsory but there are times that when things get so bad, you can laugh about it. Laura's situation is becoming dire and when you get people looking at the real time score and thinking 'I don't believe what I am seeing', it is time to take a light hearted view of the situation.

Do we have to do this?

For the sake of saying something, I'll say it'll be the same as the last match against a Brit: 1 ace, 15 double faults.

This lucky loser spot is a bit of good fortune. She needs lots of matches in a row. If she's not exhausted I think she could win the next one.

Oh and I'll go for 10 DFs.

I'll say about 11? She might surprise us and do two less than today.
I am not sure whether Laura's current strategy is to practise her serve or practise her double faults.

I think she might be a bit relieved to get another competitive game against a lowly Brit (not quite as lowly as Laura though) but the luck may lessen the pressure she is feeling.

I would go for 4 per set, so 8 if Laura wins in 2.

Sigh kind knew it , but she need to keep playing more matches.

Katy is the favourite, she's playing her best since around 2nd half of last year. A tough match. Expect alot of errors from both sides

I have no idea what to expect but I do expect it to be messy.
