I hadn't slept in 24 hours when I wrote that (at least that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it )

I was talking about Karina, but both babies are cute

Interesting. I knew about the Williams sisters, but looks like this is more common than I thought.

Yeah Such a pity she & Bepa had their careers hampered by injuries!

She's coaching this kid (whose parents come from Belarus) I wonder if it means she's definitively turned the professional player page though

Re: Alona Bondarenko Cheering Thread

Don't worry, I'm quite used to hitting my nose on these closed doors by now I've lost count of how many players have decided to turn their account private in the last year or so (not the big names, of course, but these are not always the most interesting ones)

I've added her Instagram to my bookmarks anyway, in case she makes it public later

She did! I'm sorry, I really didn't attempt to cruelly tease you again, it's just that once you're following someone, there's nothing telling you their profile is private if you don't remember it

She lost 7-6(6) 3-6 3-6 to Payet

I hope she keeps getting some match play!

Re: Alona Bondarenko Cheering Thread

A straight-set win, nice

She looks in pretty good shape, here's hoping her knee will hold up and allow her to make a successful comeback and join Katya back in the top 100

Re: Alona Bondarenko Cheering Thread

Alona is playing 10K Tarvisio this week

She won her R1 match over lucky loser Karolayne Alexandre Da Rosa, 1 & 4 yesterday

She'll face Pauline Payet (WTA 732, CHR 577), who thrashed 7th seed Francati in R1, tomorrow in R2

One pic from last week

And one form today
