Hey Barrie,

Are you using the site through the Tapatalk app? Is there an error message that appears before it boots you out? Have you ensured you have the latest update/version? Which version is your iOS on?

Let us know and we'll go from there - thanks for your patience on this.

Cheers,
Natalie

Highly appreciated.

I've posted two important threads there and they were both deleted. It is starting to piss me off, because I don't like to go back and do things over again.

Can an admin put this thread back or no? I'd like to know if it's a bug or a moderator/admin cleaning up subforums.

Thanks

Re: Bug reports

Steve, it might be a good idea to advise of a turnaround time or when posters should expect a response when they report something in here. Thanks

Re: Bug reports

Dear "Steve",

What is the point of having a sticky thread dedicated to bugs - labelled 'IMPORTANT' - if nobody is going to respond or otherwise acknowledge what is being reported here?

No, the Tweet vs. Anti-Shout Function problem I mentioned above is not bringing the forum to a standstill. But it's a bonafide bug. It's most likely related to the Other Tweet Problem reported on the previous page. It has not been fixed, and it can easily be recreated.

I'm probably not alone in thinking a lack of response means you don't care. It's not the first time I have reported something here to no avail, or perhaps only after a couple of months when I stomped my feet. I'm certainly not trying to be dramatic; I just want to know if I'm wasting everybody's time.

Re: Bug reports

The ANTI-SHOUT FILTER just went bananas* on a post that contained nothing but a tweet and a quote.

There was absolutely no shouting in that post whatsoever.

*Did its usual thing.

Do I have an example of misattribution? No not personally, I'm just talking hypothetically. But someone else may have done. Others have mentioned seeing this same bug.

Re: Bug reports

I took a look at both links you provided (thank you for that) and the first one with fufuqifuqishahah quoting your post, there is no text from them, simply just your post that is seen as being quoted. I understand what you mean, if the person quoting you has a text, theirs is being posted within the quote so it looks like it's something you said rather than what they said, correct? Do you have an example of this? I have not yet come across anything like this.

Has anyone else experienced this? Let us know and provide links please and thank you (of the OP and quoted post).

Cheers,
Natalie

Re: Bug reports

I assume it's not just me seeing it and maybe this was already reported, but sometimes when someone quotes a post that ends with a twitter embed, their response is displayed within the grey quote box rather than outside it.

e.g. http://www.tennisforum.com/76916866-post53.html
and my original post http://www.tennisforum.com/76895770-post14.html

So it could appear to someone reading it as though nothing new was written and the response was written by the original poster.

I've seen it happen a few times. At best it looks confusing; at worst someone could misattribute what was written as being by the quoted poster.

if you get the error connection, right click > inspect/ inspect element > copy and paste the script and paste it here when you can get online. looks like there might be a mySQL error.
