Re: Caroline Garcia

Caro will not play WTA Rabat next week which she was on the entry list for.

Re: Caroline Garcia

It continues still. Kiki basically admitted the lol was about Caro and says she lacks respect for her country.

I am 100% with Caro in this. Whilst at first i didn't agree with her decision, the way the team and FFT have responded to it is ridiculous and childish. Caro has handled it in a classy manner, and i think she will win a few people over with this.

I am glad she is getting away from that atmosphere. I am glad that she got away from Kiki. It is just a shame they continue to bring this up about her, because Caroline admitted herself that it bothers her because she is an emotional person and i don't want that hurting her tennis.

I don't know what Oceane's true stance is, but it is nice to see Caroline is not alone in this.

I don't know, and maybe it's just me, but it seems like it's becoming more & more common for accusations of [insert player's name here] faking an injury flying around anytime something like or similar to this situation with Caro happens. Be it by other players or by fans or whoever. It's a shame really.

nazzac It is a mess in all honesty.

Caro decided to not play Fed Cup which really is not that big of a deal considering many players do the same.

But the FFT and the team have really gotten on their high horse about it, publically dragging her and threatening her with fines and bans.

It is a huge mess and being made bigger than it is

Well I certainly don't know what the deal is between them, but I'm sure Caro did what she felt was in her best interest and the others can like it or not (clearly they don't). I hope the drama doesn't bother Caro much, if at all, and the others quickly get over it and do what they gotta do.

Re: Caroline Garcia

I, for one, refuse to take sides on that one, because, let's be honest, we have no clue what is really going on between them. Let's focus on tennis. Hopefully, they will all get along again in the future.

Re: Caroline Garcia

This has been posted elsewhere, but I'll go ahead and post it here in Caro's forum.

Yeah, I've noticed that trend in recent years where it's seemingly taking many players longer to reach their peak/prime years compared to past generations.

Re: Caroline Garcia

Caroline seems like a late bloomer to me anyway. She is still growing as a player and a person so i believe she reach that level in her late 20's.

Sergio Garcia finally won a golfing major. Maybe another sporting Garcia can do the same at some point

She still has some good years ahead, so time is still on her side at this point to raise her level, get her ranking up further and become one of the tops.
