That's too bad , but expected. She never had a full season without injuries and all were pretty severe. Indeed, good luck for your post-tennis life, Regi

Re: Regina Kulikova Cheering Thread

Meelis reported that Regina retired. Was my favorite of the second tier Russians. Stupid injuries. Well, wish her good luck in her post-tennis life

Re: Regina Kulikova Cheering Thread

She is playing in Rancho Mirage indeed, MD came out, this is her quarter:

(6)Ana Vrljic (CRO) v (wc)Jan Abaza (USA)
Q v Q
Q v Q
(2)Madison Brengle (USA) v (SR)Regina Kulikova (RUS)

Under normal circumstances I would say she has good shot at making the QF, tough first round though, but as she withdrew recently again, I just hope she is OK and can play freely. Good luck, Regi

She is on the EL's for the next 2 25 K's in US as well, so let's see how it works out.

Re: Regina Kulikova Cheering Thread

Hope she feels OK, at least she is intending to be playing in US soon. She is on the EL for 25K in Rancho Mirage, using her PR of #150. This tournament starts February 4th.

On the EL for the 10K Stuttgart-Stammheim. This is an extremely deep field of young talent; but Regina will kick ass if she's healthy!

Well done Regi . Hope she feels ok after 5 matches in a row and she can keep healthy. I am sure she will be on WTA level again in no time!
