So Schoofs ended up winning the tournament. Sad for Anna. She would have been favourite against Lemoine in the final had she not hurt herself.

She asked for a trainer after first game of the decider, then had a MTO at 0-3 for what seemed to be a lower back injury. It was definitely a genuine injury, because she spent all changeovers on her feet trying to avoid putting any stress to that area.

I didn't watch, but yeah, after getting broken to 30 to lose the second set to 5, she somehow found herself *0-5 down in the 3rd... :-/ Maybe she peaked too early in the match and mentally collapsed at *5-6?

I got called away and missed the third set. What on earth happened? One of those crazy scorelines. She won the first eight games of the match.

what a hell happened to her at the end of the 2nd in the 3rd?! she was fighting till 5-5 in the second and after that she just stopped!
