Adidas AG is increasing efforts to sell more gear to women through social media as it seeks to double its share of the female sporting-goods market by 2020.

The German company’s target customer “doesn’t follow the Real Madrids, she doesn’t follow the James Hardens, she follows her own cycle of influencers, and they are typically on Instagram or Youtube or the social media areas we tap into,” board member Eric Liedtke said in an investor address Tuesday. “So we put together a team of 25 influencers that come and work with us on a regular basis,” including retired former tennis No. 1 Ana Ivanovic.

Would be surprised she joined charities or gets pregnant any time soon, she enjoys her life at a max what's great to see.
So what? Then she will be sponsoring tennis balls by Wilson.. but tagging a brand twice on instagram is not done for free.

Re: ~Ana's articles~

Hi guys, came to say hello, haven't posted since Ana announced retirement from tennis.

I hope you are all doing well.

These last news, Wilson, Octagon etc. still come as a bit of surprise to be honest, but to me this only proves that Ana is a a tennis icon, unique star like no one else, except Sharapova and sisters today. That's a good company to be in. This also means Ana will probably participate in lot of exibitions as I expected, and yes that makes me happy, hope to be able to see her play sometimes soon.

I was thinking the other day whether that can mean something more, but probably no. Ana does not have to be a professional athlete anymore, but she will still be a tennis star. Not many can afford that, so good for her.

Besos for everyone. Let's hope we all manage to see Ana at some exho matches soon.

She said something about the next phase of her career!! yet it might be hosting a TV program about tennis. Also the timing is weird when she can still catch the clay as a player, TV host or whatever that next phase means. And that work in progress with her weight on the wrist in her yesterday's Insta. story.
I wouldn't read all that much into it.. a lot of retired players sign contracts for post career.. maybe her signing with Octagon was an attempt at having better contacts and leverage, since post career isnt as easily attractive as active career, to get these kind of contracts.. I am sure she will be doing things.. she just did not want to actually put in the effort, focus and time to be a pro player.
