No one watching F1 here anymore ?
Good race going in Singapore right now. Hamilton just had his first retirement, and now Alonso the same... attrition all around. Go Sebbi!!!

Bottas signs deal with Ferrari to replace Raikkonen
Quote:
Valtteri Bottas has reached a deal with Ferrari to replace Finnish countryman Kimi Raikkonen from 2016.

That is the claim of Italy’s Corriere dello Sport on Friday, adding that the Maranello team will therefore not exercise the 2016 ‘option’ on Raikkonen’s existing contract.

That option does not expire until 31 July, and so there will be no official confirmation of the Bottas deal “at least until that date”, the newspaper said.

The report revealed that Ferrari reached an agreement with Bottas’ current team Williams, who had a firm option on the 25-year-old’s services for next year.

Corriere dello Sport said the deal, brokered by Bottas’ experienced manager Didier Coton, amounts to some EUR 12 million.

Corriere dello Sport correspondent Fulvio Solms backs the decision to oust Raikkonen.

“Kimi did not fit with the last two Ferrari cars,” he told Speed Week. “He did not fit with the new team management. Sometimes he seems not to fit even with himself.”

Re: 2015 FIA Formula 1 world championship

wow ferrari giving mercedes a challenge and vettel is going to win (in normal conditions)

mercedes thought they were so dominant that they could put all their eggs into one strategy basket to allow a fair hamilton-rosberg fight (and they still think they are going to be 1-2 lol), they forgot about all other competitors and should have split their strategy at the early safety car

its funny when people get too arrogant

Re: 2014 FIA Formula 1 world championship

Mercedes were incredibly strong in qualifying. Good to see that Hamilton and Rosberg's form has continued onto into the new season.

Interested to see how Vettel will do tomorrow. He outperformed Red Bull today. Should be a great race tomorrow!

*bumpity bump*

The Aussie Grand Prix starts the 2015 F1 season off this weekend!

Looking like a repeat of last season with Mercedes dominating practices/testing.
