That first scene where he has the confrontation with Carrie, I thought he looked hot as hell! I know, pretty shocking, but what can I say?

I really liked the first episode! I haven't seen the second one. Saul has lost weight, and I have to say, I think I'd hit it.

Everybody is trying to kill Carrie. Please Allah, let it come to fruition.

I agree. It was a downer after the build-up to the finale.

Nice change up to the finale. More about the story lines but still lot of questions left unanswered.

Re: Showtime Drama: "Homeland"

Peter Quinn went out on his own to find Haqqanni(sp) and now its really getting good. At the end of the episode it showed that old man, friends of Saul who works for the CIA (Dar Adal) hooked up with Haqqanni(sp). You'll have to watch the episode to really understand.

This is the Quinn we were missing in all of the other episodes where we are supposed to believe that he is capable of real human emotion and is hence able to feel sadness over his apparently profound feelings for Carrie. No. More robot Quinn. No more emo Quinn.

Will be interesting to see how the rest of the season pans out. Only Carrie would be self-involved enough to think that she can survive in hostile Islamabad with absolutely no sort of backup. Wouldn't mind seeing her bite the bullet.
I felt quite bad for her when she gave that split second smile after Lockhart handed over the list right before she died That being said, I didn't buy Lockhart handing over the list - but this would have had no where to go the rest of the season if he didn't (just like if Carrie took the shot).

Loving Quinn's turn as Jack Bauer this episode (incidentally, this season of Homeland reminds me of Peak 24).
