Re: Laura Siegemund

Trotz Pleite: Siegemund will weiter Gas geben

(sid)

So fed up of all these haters popping up. I can't seem to stop myself from getting into a discussion with them.

I'm fine with her having haters though, as long as those pricks don't start making fake social media accounts and start posting horrible shit on her accounts. I am really enjoy her presence on the social media and I'd hate her to be the next victim of these assholes.

lost 46 67(9)

Not much energy left but great fight again, I expected it to be much clearer after 46 03 but she did not give up, Cirstea has a powerful game, the weapons it needs to beat Laura but she obviously made errors also but Laura was not able to take advantage of that completely, too many errors herself, should have won the TB to get into the 3rd set but whatever..
I mean, the draw in Madrid was quite open and it´s a bit diappointing that she couldn´t start another dream run here but we shouldn´t expect too much, shame that she won´t be seeeded now at RG (probably) but who would have thought about that possibility a few weeks ago at all.

Good that she can rest now, she played so many matches recently, should be fit and fresh for Nürnberg and Paris then and no more Quali then for a while afterwards, good for her as well!

Laura into Madrid R3 !

Very good last 2 games from her. Great fight from Laura

Laura even in tears after she won
Shows how much physically handicapped she was - and still won !
I hope this injury is not serious and she can play the next match in Madrid

Not nice from Mirjana to not shake Laura`s hand

Laura's on-court behavior is disgusting and I can't see how anyone could potentially defend it to be honest.
But especially against a mentally fragile player like Mirjana it's effective enough and she keeps on rolling.
I certainly wish Laura well But I have hardly seen anyone behave worse than she does.
I´ve never said that she didn´t do anything. But then other players also schould be convicted for that . And I don´t defend such a behaviour. Petkovic was reviled by a player and nobody cares today any longer. And this was worse then Laura´s behaviour.

Heavy how the people dissing her in the GM-Thread. But other players only behave like angels . She is sometimes a bit loud and extreme, but she does not insult her oppenent, like other players have done in the past...

Friedsam is also defending 100 points at Nuremberg & FO while Laura is defending just 20 points.

Re: Laura Siegemund

Good to see she's out of Trnava. Probably won't get a WC to Rome so she will have time to recover for Nuremberg and then probably the most important tournament of her life, RG. The race to the Olympics is so tight though... Can't really see Goerges, Lisicki and others peaking in Rome but you never though with them.

Re: Laura Siegemund

Laura has no energy left but she was able to fight through, amazing to see, some great points in between but also some errors from both sides today, Lucic with more UEs as usual!

Good thing is that Kovinic/Cirstea did not even start their match yet, so not ideal for them as well but well, if she loses tomorrow, then it´s no big deal, she needs a break but maybe she can surprise us...

new haters to come, no handshake for Laura today from Lucic, both ladies really feisty, it already wasn´t that friendly in Charleston but today was even worse...
