Re: Aussies in WTA events

She doesn't spend any time here whatsoever, so I can't see her getting an Aussie passport anytime soon. Nor should she.

Re: Aussies in WTA events

Ajla Tomljanovic is back playing Genie Bouchard tomorrow morning in Acapulco (it might even be on TV). She's still listed as being Croatian though.

Good job Ash

Barty/Dellacqua in the doubles draw too. Then looks like they are headed straight for the US!

Re: Aussies in WTA events

^ I think the seeds would be more concerned with Ash than the other way around, the way she is playing

Ash!

So many Q spots are against seeds though! [1]Svitolina (will she even play though?), [2]CSN, [3]Garcia, [7]Mertens... then there's Su-Wei Hsieh and Irina Falconi...

Wow. 0 & 1!

There's a spot in the top 50 with Ash's name on it. If she remains healthy, it's only a matter of time.

Re: Aussies in WTA events

Ash with a handy Q1 win yesterday Lizette... three set loss, but promising signs?

Meanwhile, Arina/Voskoboeva play the Budapest final after Babos/Safarova withdrew! Good luck!

Re: Aussies in WTA events

Some Aussie teams have entered IW doubles.

In MD: Jurak/Rodionova
In ALT: Barty/Dellacqua (ALT#3), Kasatkina/Gavrilova (ALT#4), Stosur/Zhang (ALT#10)

So looks like Barty will play IW and Miami if she gets into Q
