I dont think she genuinely cares about singles anymore, but yeah you never know maybe one last crack Nastya

Territory Nastya has popped up as an Alt in Wuhan qualifying. About to play Alison Riske. Should be a flogging.

Players must meet 1000's of players, not to mention coaches etc over their careers. Hard to remember all.

Good that she won her match, kimonos bring good luck! (just not in singles )

Jess won her doubles 1st round. Her and Krunic beat Brengle and Hisami 2 and 2. Spears and Atawo next.

Arina through with Savchuk also, Liang and yang next.

Aga and Jess are actually around the same age and played juniors together. Considering Jess actually had a pretty decent junior career with 2 Grand Slam doubles titles and a Grand Slam singles final and she also played Aga in doubles twice (Aga thrashed her though) :P But it's probably way back (or even erased from) in Aga's memory

Her game is so taxing and she usually wins through a battle of attrition than hitting someone off the court. So a drop off in intensity, for example by giving doubles more of a focus, might have caused a drop-off to her level.

Arina lost 6-2 6-3, but atleast a good 13 points, she has no right playing in premiers but got lucky with the easy Q1
