I hope she can beat 38 year old LLW. I would expect Meible Chi to reach the QFR, and she's of a similar level to the sort of player Laura has been losing to.

Yeah, I hope so.. It's basically a bunch of American college players. The highest ranked one, Amy Zhu is 830, and she lost in the first round of qualifying in the same two events Laura has played this year, Wesley Chapel and Sunrise...

So in an ideal world, Laura should breeze through this as long as she keeps the DFs and UEs down an keeps a level head....

Here's Laura's section of the qualifying in $25k Surprise:

Good chance of getting through here I think (provided she can keep the double faults down ). Thankfully she managed to avoid Wozniak.

(8)Laura Robson (GBR) v Maria Mateas (USA)
Seriana Saltzen (USA) v Lindsay Lee-Waters (USA)
Cameron Morra (USA) v Savannah Kahle (USA)
(16)Amy Zhu (USA) v Meible Chi (USA)

Thank you so much for Laura's schedule
I've been her fan since 2012 and I'm so eager to see her playing decent tennis again. Hope 2016 will bring some positives

Praying she draws Alex Stevenson, who's also in qualifying.
They should both be seeded, so unlikely to be a first round match, but maybe they will be fighting for a place in the maindraw in the last Q round?

Hi, welcome!

Laura's provisional schedule so far is...

1. 25k Surprise-qualifying
2. 25k Rancho Santa Fe- qualifying
3. WTA Monterrey- MD via SR
4. WTA Indian Wells- MD (I think) via SR

She also could get a WC into Miami as she is with IMG. There was also an article which mentioned she wanted to play Charleston, but that hasn't been confirmed or anything as the entry list is not out yet.

That doesn't mean she's not working hard in training. She did post a quick picture on twitter of her training, but she''s not going to fully document it for her fans...

I hope maybe Laura got a last minute WC into a tournament or something. Or even taking some time out to do more training would be good.

With Jo singles form the girls might make it out to group 2.Just avoid Azarenka.

Mr.Sparkle She is on the entry list for 25k Surprise. I agree and have mentioned before that Laura should play the 10ks in the UK but she is sticking to US events. I doubt she will get any play in Fed cup but at least she will get to bond with the girls.
