Re: Lizette Cabrera - FilAus Goddess

A solid week

She really pushed Dasha. Liz's returning is really great and the rest of her game was alright and pretty solid in the last two sets, the first had too many UEs.

Her serving when she's comfortable isn't too bad and she can get some good first serves but her second serves need improvement. When she's struggling her first serve is as shaky too. Something I hope she works on in the off-season

Yes that true, but some of them go for precision when they don't have a strong serve, while she just places it in the middle a lot, not really going for the T or the outwide angle

a now Wozniacki does us a favor

I see so much of Ivanovic in her honestly, but her serve will be a liability

Re: Lizette Cabrera - FilAus Goddess

With today’s win, YE top 170 ranking is virtually guaranteed (Toyota pts 1/2 defended) but given the ITFs she has left and if she continues beating the players she *should* beat, a top 150 is possible which would virtually guarantee a AO MDWC, you’d think

She entered 60k Suzhou.

Wonder if she will even play the Australian ITFs.

After Suzhou she could play Liuzhou, then Canberra, then there is the option of 125k Hua Hin, 100k Tokyo, 100k Shenzhen and 60k Bendigo. Then after that there is Toyota and 125k Taipei. And then she would probably come home and prepare for WC playoff.

Potentially looking at playing 10 weeks in a row Hon could pretty much have the same schedule as her too (also playing HK and Suzhou it seems), but smart choice to pull out of the 25k this week for her.

Beijing QR1
vs. (6) Witthoeft.

Tough draw but a good opportunity to get some more experience

She will play Alexandrova (#75) in the first round

100 pts to defend, so a win in MD would do the ranking wonders.
