She could be.. The backdrop to her valentines photo looked like either London or Paris but not quite sure. I wonder why she'd be in Vauxhall though..

Laura's still the 5th alt for Zhuhai, everyone just loves this tournament. Doesn't look like she will get in.

That makes sense. And then she can try getting into 60k Shenzhen the following week.

She's only five out today. They're almost all 1st priorities ahead of her, a strong field. But people almost always pull out in between so I'm 90% sure she'll get in. Otherwise it's Yokohama.

Btw: the Zhuhai entry list is pretty strong with the #151 last direct in
She is also in the main draw of a $25k ITF in Japon the same week

I hope not. In my opinion, she should be playing some ITF tournaments and trying to get some points, not siotting aorund hoping for WCs.

Re: Return Winner: The Laura Robson support thread.

Kayla Day is 3rd alt into Acapulco with a ranking of 182.

Frustrating thing is, Laura is literally 20-30 ranking spots from getting into weaker WTA international qualies. She just needs to realize that she's not that far off from making this- just needs to suck it up on the ITF circuit and get some runs going.

But like you say Lloyd, she has points coming off from IW and Miami. If she isn't entering the 60Ks in China, she's either holding out for WTA WCs or taking an unnecessary break

Re: Return Winner: The Laura Robson support thread.

If she come to Zhuhai 60k or Shenzhen 60k instead,I'd be very happy, because these two cities are just 1 hour away from where I live, lol. But, I can't believe she need 20days to ready for Zhuhai 60K,If she is coming to Asia why not try that WTA tournament in Malaysia.I think the deadline is pretty low there. She should manage to get into the qualy with her ranking. Still, I think she will go to Miami and IW.

Hope this hard work new coach will make a difference, probably tell Laura HOW HARD Maria Sharapova's training.

Lloy4dAustin Need time with psychologist and her new coach? And I don't think she will come to Asia, maybe she will manage to take some wcs or qwcs to enter Miami and IW. She has 20 points to defend in these 2 lol. Hope she will come to Guanzhou this year, she actually has fans in here
