That's the Worst thing that can possibly happen she must never get another wildcard in her lifetime even if she moves to china

Yes, I was talking about the French Open & US Open. Whether she wins a play off for those or not. But yes hopefully they have learned

I have no troubles with her getting a w/c for her home slam. It's the French and US Open ones that were the problem for her development.


I would be 'afraid' too if she played the US ITF series and then was handed (and accepted) the w/c into the US Open after barely playing. Hopefully TA and Ash (because she doesn't have to accept every w/c on offer) learn from prior mistakes.

I think we all agree if that's indeed the plan. I am just "afraid" the WCs(play off or not) will start all over again

I agree. Assuming she'll play the Australian ITF swing from October, Playoff, Aussie Summer, another round of Aus ITFs, then possibly Fed Cup....its 5 months of nonstop play. Makes sense to get some training in so she's fit enough to tackle that amount of tennis.

binky-GOAT It seems Ash has resumed her training block after Wimbledon. This is a very good move in my opinion since she played a lot of matches since her return and needs to continue in developing her fitness.

Maybe by the end of year or start of next year she can start playing a full schedule.

Not sure but from her twitter/instagram it appears she returned to Australia shortly after the end of her Wimbledon and is still there. I have not seen her name in any tournament list
